Join our journey to explore and understand what is needed to create an effective water vision for Auroville, the City the Earth needs. Auroville's Citizens Assembly is a research project to experiment with new models for community explorations and discussions. The aim is to explore how this model (which is currently being tried across the world) could work in our community. The aim of the pilot is to produce a water vision for Auroville and develop recommendations for its implementation. As in many places in the world Auroville faces a water shortage in coming years, so this is a critical community issue. This first video on our water heritage is a compilation that outlines the rich Tamil water heritage this land comes from and that we are part of in Auroville. Please join us on a short journey through Tamil Nadu's remarkable water history, and how this connects to the philosophy, inception and present of Auroville, as presented by Auroville community members Sreevatsa, Meenakshi, Juergen, Joss, Mita and Dave.
