That's why we produced this YT video and asked Dhani How Did You Come Up With The Name For Your Band and also 'Whats Inside A Suite The Expatriate Composition' Our debut album is called “Chimu Fiesta” and Dhani has surrounded himself with a Dream Team of composer musicians for his debut record. Indian pianist-composer Aman Mahajan, percussionist Suresh Bascara and Dutch-born Maarten Visser on tenor and soprano saxophone, have all performed widely on the Indian music circuit, and in Europe and the USA. “Chimu Fiesta” is an album bred out of dissatisfaction and a healthy dose of anger. Some prefer to come up with a name or a concept before starting such a project, in order to give it shape; in this case, the shapes were lying around for a while, waiting for Dhani’s fellow musicians to take and transform them. It was this sudden outpouring after such a long period of gestation (the oldest piece dates back to when Dhani was 17) that prompted its title. The Chimu were a pre-Incan civilization now famed for, among other things, the intrinsic violence of their culture. And while no one was beheaded in the making of this record, it does signify a return to a certain type of creative violence, and one that is most often palpable in the early stages of things- abstract art, modern classical music, rock n’ roll, Delta blues, jazz, and basically all human civilization. The album will be available in early to mid October exclusively through the bands website at bandcamp. com and will feature a free download of its first single “Tusker”, a foray into the experimental that clings to familiar notes and structures that stick with you because you have felt them before in the commercial success of such jazz icons as Miles Davis. The entire album can be downloaded for only $7 USD; however fans and patrons can pay as much as they want to help contribute to the production and the group’s inability to make touring revenue. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Follow us Official Site: https://ift.tt/3jHdPU4 Twitter: https://twitter.com/SuiteExpatriate Facebook: https://ift.tt/38CTdpI Instagram: https://ift.tt/3Equt2T Now that you have watched our vid about How Did You Come Up With The Name For Your Band has it assisted?
