Last Week in Buddha Garden March 21st - March 26th 2022
Its been two years or more since we have hosted a group of students in Buddha Garden, but at the end of the week we did so. After such a long time it felt VERY good. We have cleared and weeded beds as usual and this week we got to start planting – beans, lukki (bottle gourd) and bassella spinach – all hot weather crops. During the week our electricity started failing very early in the morning so we knew it was time to give the solar panels a good clean. This time of year as it gets hotter and everything more dusty the panels can get extremely dirty and stop working properly. Since we’ve cleaned them we’ve had no problems.
