Last Week in Buddha Garden June 6th - June 11th 2022
We were very pleased indeed this week to at last be able to harvest our pineapples. This was something Saran really enjoyed which included showing Magzhiran how to do it; although being only seven years old Magzhiran is not old enough to cut them with the big knife that has to be used. With a little bit of rain, we were able to plant papaya trees and beans as well as preparing beds for planting. Even with the rain, however, it is still so hot that some plants needed extra water at certain parts of their growth cycle to help them grow well. Finally we made jam with some of the Surinam cherries that we picked last week. It has a rather nice sweet/sour taste.
