Last Week in Buddha Garden August 15th - August 20th 2022
Over the last two years we have not been able to easily bring in the tractor loads of leaves that we need to make sufficient compost for all our plants. We use what leaves we could find within the farm but they were not enough for what we need. The video this week shows the effects this is having on some of our plants. This week we therefore started focusing on improving our soil. Now we have our own access we can get sufficient leaves but compost takes time to create. In the meantime, we are going to use liquid fertilizer and you can see on the video how we make this. With more beds being cleared we also need more seedlings and we are going to make more room in the nursery so we can grow them. As a good rain comes at the end to the week Buddha Garden is looking green and vibrant.
