Last Week in Buddha Garden February 20th - February 25th 2023
Buddha Garden has been full with volunteers staying with more coming in just for the morning work. Its wonderful to have so much help and we are continuing to do a lot of much needed clearing up. As well as doing all the usual jobs like picking we have cleared and composted a lot of beds in the New Horizon vegetable garden as well as clearing a large area next to the Seed Garden. We are going to use this for the nursery soil activities (drying, sieving etc) which at present take place in front of the nursery. This is because we want to extend the nursery. This week the new entrance path was finished and we are delighted with how it looks and feels. We’ve also put up our newly decorated bug hotels and bird boxes until we can find a safe place for them in the Garden of Unseen Helpers. We have found time to play as well with a tightrope that several volunteers have enjoyed learning how to use.
