Last Week in Buddha Garden March 13th - March 18th 2023
This week we continued to prepare for the hot season with weeding, mulching and preparing beds to plant with hot season crops. We finished taking apart the hydroponic system and are now thinking about how to turn it into an information board for the entrance. We also cleared up the compost bins ready for our first tractor loads of leaves to turn into compost. Although unfortunately the leaves haven’t turned up yet. We also tried – and failed – to get the new grass cutter working. After phone calls and help from the people who sold it to us it still didn’t work. So they offered us a new machine which we are waiting to be delivered. The week ended with a special breakfast of idiyappam made by Vimala.
