Ciné-master class "2001: A Space Odyssey" - Part 1
On 30 of April 2023, Philippe May presented Stanley Kubrick masterpiece, "2001 a Space Odyssey" (UK, 1968) in Aurofilm, Auroville. It is a first part, starting with an introduction to the film director and his work, then the historical and cultural context, the thematic and basic level or understanding of the story line of the film. After that Philippe goes through the highlights and analyses details of the movie with the support of archive footage, interviews, etc. The full talk will continue with a second part.
